Sullivan Landing

For many of us, the idea of sore feet and muscles, cold faces and other places makes skiing/snowboarding to be anything but a fun activity. Of course, fair weather skiing/snowboarding is always great, but how many days a year can you go on the hill without layering up?  For those of us who like to stay warm and active, there are now many games on the Wii allow us to get off our couch and work towards becoming an expert ski jumper – all from the comfort of our own home.

Now you may be wondering why a community developer would be blogging about a Wii night that happens at the Kimberley Alpine Resort… well, for starters our main goal is not to simply create a sense of community, but we want a living community where you are happy to ask your neighbour for a cup of sugar. This is how we designed our own urban alpine community in Sullivan Landing.  Kimberley is a wonderful town that has generated not just small town values among its visitors and residents but an easy going lifestyle that will be embraced for generations.
