Okko Communities Re-Opens Trails in Kimberley’s Sullivan Landing
News Release | January 3, 2011 | For Immediate Release
Trails and pathways providing contiguous access to the Lois Creek trail system are now re-opened for use
January 3, 2011 (Kimberley, BC) - Okko Communities partner Noel Winter announced today that the Sullivan Landing walking trails have been re-opened after closing in 2009 due to site servicing and land development activities.
Sullivan Landing provides an easy connection between Nurse’s Trail and downtown Kimberley to the major Lois Creek Trail System for walking, hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.
Part of the extensive Community Trails Network, The Lois Creek Trail System is one of the best maintained and most extensive trail networks in Kimberley. Okko is committed to maintaining the Sullivan Landing system to a comparable standard and for full public use.
While the new community of Sullivan Landing has completed its land development, an active home construction program is now underway. Okko Communities cautions trail users to obey all warning signs and to stay away from fenced off areas when using Sullivan Landing’s trail system.
