The Stonehill
Lot 38 in Sullivan Landing, known locally as “The Stonehill”, is a perfect representation of the possibilities that can be achieved when building a home in Sullivan Landing. Perched on an elegantly crafted hillside, the home is endowed with protected panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, the Kimberley Alpine Resort, and wilderness area, and has a great deal of privacy from other lots.
The Stonehill will utilize the position of the lot with decks at both ends of the house, providing access to the outside and allowing private access to an office/guest room. Large windows, opening to panoramic and focussed views, will be installed using energy efficient low e2 coatings, argon gas and double glazing, adding to the already high energy efficiency of the home. The entire home will feature modular exterior wall and roof construction to ensure accuracy and to provide a high level of energy efficiency and air tightness in the home.
The contemporary home will boast an open plan to optimize the view and includes a bridge that connects the garage to the home. A glazed entry pivot door will open onto a gallery that accesses the stairs to the lower level, the private office/guest room, and the living area of the house.
If you’ve seen the home and love the look we’d love to introduce you to the architect, Robert Weston.
